The life that you are living right now is a result of what you have settled for. Period! No excuses! Society likes you when you are average, when you agree or conform to the rules of the ‘herd.’ This is complicated by the fact that we are addicted to being liked. I just want to remind you that you are built for mastery. Let this become tattooed in your brain cells, something that you should seriously think about.
Many today are still influenced by the crowd. It takes courage to be yourself, to be a Kingdom person. You must pay the price—the price of ridicule, negativity, and even isolation. This happens when you decide to be yourself. You cannot be yourself and continue to act the same old way. When you act differently, you will attract all kinds of opposition.
Sometimes you will be hated and laughed at. But you have to come to realize that these people do not hate you when you start being yourself. They see in you what they do not have the courage to confront in their own lives. They do not like to be reminded of this deep betrayal of their talents, gifts, and abilities. So, they would rather numb the pain of this potential that they have betrayed; they would rather get lost in someone else’s world and project their fears and limitations on you.
Take this lesson very seriously. It has shaped my life in a very positive way. You will find that you have more energy and that the work that you have been called to do in the Kingdom has more meaning. As Oscar Wilde said, “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”
No more average—you were built for mastery! YOU ARE AMAZING!!
